Build Fellows are employed part-time by The Build Fellowship’s cap-exempt non-profit partners working 5 hours per week supporting U.S. colleges & universities. Build Fellows are then able to work full-time for U.S. companies who file a concurrent H-1B visa.
Foreign nationals who qualify for a standard H-1B and have an employer, business, or sponsor apply for The Build Fellowship.
Build Fellows work 5 hours per week with one of Build's cap-exempt organizations, allowingThe Fellow to receive a part-time cap-exempt H-1B.
U.S. employers can now file a concurrent, full-time H-1B allowing the Fellow to work 40 hours per week under this concurrent H-1B.
